Hi, I’m Jake. I’m 23 years old, and I’ve been working on guitars for about four years.
What started as an interest in guitars became something I genuinely love—finding them, learning about them, working on them, and bringing instruments back to life for someone else to enjoy.
I’ve experienced life from a lot of different sides. I’ve had amazing days I’ll always be grateful for, and I’ve had days where I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to make it through. Being lucky enough to see both sides changed the way I look at the people around me. You never really know what somebody else is carrying.
In a world where compassion can sometimes feel harder and harder to find, I want to contribute more of it rather than just wish there was more of it.
I run Fret Forward alongside a full-time job and family life. That means the project stays personal: every guitar that comes through here gets my own time and attention.
If something takes a little longer, it’s because I’d rather do the work carefully than rush it.
